We’re resuming our interstate moving
We’ll now be offering interstate moving to all lower 48 states based on availability. During the past 2 years of coronavirus, we’ve had our interstate moving on hold, but we’re resuming it again. That means direct expedited, exclusive truck (no sharing with other loads/customers) top tier service. We don’t hire any road labor so the workers you meet at the load meet you again at the delivery. it’s the most predictable and pleasant way to do it. There are ways of chiseling down the price, but we start with the best long distance moving service and then try and make it affordable through consistency and avoiding issues.
Where offering interstate moving to:
Our typical routes are in New England, specifically New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. We’re also pretty often in New York, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and New Jersey. Those are the most common delivery states, usually originating in Massachusetts. We’ve also been to Texas, California, Illinois (Chicago), Minnesota, Oklahoma, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Oregon and Washington.
What other elements are there to our Interstate Moving?
We’ve transported all manner of household goods, including cars. We have experience loading a variety of cars (we’ve loaded porshes, acuras, lexus, etc). Usually we hire a local high end towing company to load the car into a flat-bed and then transfer it into our trailer. This ensures safe handling and liability coverage at every step. We’re specialists in household goods, so we hire automotive specialists to help us with cars. We then secure them in the trialer with ratchet straps with non-marking slings, usually around the wheels. It depends on the ground clearance and other details.
Do you offer Interstate Moving year ’round?
We typically only offer long distance moving September through May, but for repeats we can still sometimes provide the service in the summer, depending on availability. We tend to stay local in the summer and take care of our repeat customers locally.
What sort of equipment is used for Interstate Movng?
We have our own Kenworth tractor and Kentucky trailer which we use for larger interstate moves. We also have a 2018 Isuzu FTR 24′ box truck that’s used for smaller moves. On occasion we’ll send a rental truck and fly the crew back if that will allow us to offer a lower price but typically east of the Mississippi we run our own equipment.
