Intelligent Labor and Moving was founded in 2005 in Cambridge, MA. I started it in my living room of my apartment at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Cottage Park ave. I started by renting trucks from a nearby Budget truck rental in Arlington. I would load the equipment out of the livingroom and into the trucks every day, and put them back at night. After a couple years I saved up and bought a truck and parked it at the end of the street.
After a few years there I had the opportunity to move the business over to 127 Smith Place, Cambridge, MA. Then from there we went across the street to 128 Smith Place, then 131 Fawcett St Cambridge MA. We were there for quite a while, but after 10 years in business we bought our warehouse here in Arlington, MA.
Moving and Storage
When we were in Cambridge we didn’t offer storage but at our warehouse here in Arlington we can. We have 50+ vaults here in Arlington and another 50 at our warehouse in Hudson.
